NEW Colorful Game Boy Advanced SP variants from Anbernic

The Anbernic RG35xxSP might be the most popular handheld in this years line of H700 handhelds. In what is obviously a move to capitalize on this success Anbernic is releasing 3 new color variants and I’m here for it.

I like many absolutely love the RG35xxSP. It is one of those handhelds that brings back a nostalgia many have tried to capture but few have been successful with. At least at the level of the 35xxSP. We know shortly after launch over 50k handhelds had already been sold which is big numbers for a budget Chinese handhelds.

The RG35xxSP initially launched in 4 color variants such as Translucent Blue, Grey, Silver and Translucent Black. I picked up a blue variant during preorder as it just seemed to have the most pop. Now we are getting 3 more translucent colors: Green, Pink and White/Clear’ish. We have only seen renders for these new colorways so far but they look great.

This is smart business for Anbernic as I don’t think they are necessarily producing these for holdouts but instead trying to capture existing users for additional sales. I don’t admit it often but Anbernic is going to win this battle because if I can’t make up my mind I might just order all three.
