Miyoo Flip Release Date and Gameplay Footage

The Miyoo Flip has been highly anticipated for over a year now. There was a random flash sale listing of the Flip on Amazon (try your luck here) but we now have the official release date… until it changes.

While we are waiting impatiently review units are beginning to arrive. I’m still waiting for mine to show up but I don’t want to rob you of the opportunity to see it now and found you a video. Before you watch remember the Miyoo Flip comes with the RK3566 SOC that we have seen in dozens of handhelds. So it mostly performs like all of those, though firmware does seem to always make some big differences with this CPU. The NITRX channel on YouTube was nice enough to post some footage. He was even nice enough to try a bunch of different systems. (See Below)

If that gameplay tickles your fancy you won’t need to wait long to order a Flip for yourself. I’m not really sure why Miyoo hasn’t announced a release date (as of this posting) but I have a date from Miyoo. Keep in mind it was Miyoo in October of 2023 that told us it would release October 15th and then continue to push the goalpost.

If this is like every previous launch from Miyoo the handhelds will be released in waves of limited quantities. They have had more than enough time to build up inventory for this launch, but I know they were recently making revisions after some updates were needed on the developer units.

Let’s hope this release goes off without a hitch (wishful thinking)!
