Anbernic XX Firmware UPDATE

Anbernic used to have one of the worst firmwares on the market, but over the last year the StockOS has lined up with some Custom Firmwares. It has been receiving steady updates on all of Anbernic’s handhelds supported by the H700 SOC.

Check the list below to see if your handheld/handhelds are on the list for updates. There is some significant changes listed in the changelog all posted below. If you need to update I am also including a link where you can get more information and download the firmware directly from Anbernic at the bottom of this post. Changelog:
1. Added support for NT2 and NT3 format games in the ons emulator core
2. Added support for pico-8 third-party emulators and online game stores (Note: You need to copy the emulator run file yourself and place it in the “EXE-pico-8” folder. The system only provides script functions)
3. Added full-screen options for arcade emulators
4. Added PDF reader
5. Added the function of handhelds acting as WiFi hotspots
6. Added a module that automatically records the last browsed
7. Updated the psp emulator to version v1.18.1
8. Updated the controller button configuration
9. Modified the system brightness adjustment to level 8
10. Modified the recognition of the e-book function for card 1
11. Fixed the invalid problem of retroarch pico-8 emulator
12. Fixed the execution efficiency of dot and other shaders
13. Optimized the system and fixed other known issues
