I want all of these so bad for um “Testing Purposes”… and then to carry around to play every day. You can now order metal builds of 3 very popular handhelds no questions asked. No questions while ordering anyways if you do that alone in a dimly lit room.
Sure when you post images of your new handheld on Reddit the first legit comment for the first time ever is going to be “buy a Steam Deck”. But that’s all besides the point when you know you have the best looking Miyoo Mini in your friend group or hardest Cube if nothing else.
Interestingly the metal version of the Anbernic RG Cube seems to have changed the ergonomics that it has come to be known for. I guess they wanted to make all these metal beauties EDC handhelds and with that metal shell not only will they slide in your pocket nice but they will have some drop protection as well. One would hope making the handhelds out of metal would protect them but then the GKD Pixel may have taught us otherwise. Let us know how it goes. I probably wouldn’t ever leave the house with any of these investments in my pocket.
