Today the Konkr Pocket Fit prices got set and sales went live right after Ayn releases the Odin 3. To be fair it was the smart thing to do if they were trying to figure out what “budget-friendly” means.
The lowest specd’ Konkr Pocket Fit with the SDG3Gen3 looks to be aiming at the Retroid Pocket 5 which was unexpected. After that pricing goes directly at Ayn and the Odin 3 which was expected.
I’m still not convinced however the power of positive thinking will give us good high end emulation on the SD8Elite SOC with its lack of drivers. You can only power through so much in top tier emulation before you need the delicate balance only delivered by the Adreno GPU.
Pricing
Ayaneo has essentially 2 different Pocket Fit devices as they have all tiers available with 2 different SOCs. Getting the SD8Elite in any configuration for $269 is crazy. Makes me wonder how much the upcoming SD8EliteGen2 is effecting pricing when purchasing inventory.
The Konkr Pocket Fit’s IndieGoGo campaign has begun, the link is below. I can’t lie I’m really digging that Yellow Pocket Fit and it’s actually available for the second tier. That’s gotta be Ayaneo’s lowest paywall to date.
