Retroid posted a teaser image over on the Retroid Discord channel this morning. If you want to know what’s coming you won’t have to wait long for this one.
According to the post Retroid will be letting us know what their cryptic message around time travel is all about. There is currently one handheld we are waiting for so it’s likely that this late into the year.
During a Qualcomm event earlier in the year they showed a shadowy object when discussing their relationship with Retroid. This was less subtle than it sounds.
Qualcomm came out and told us the unannounced Retroid Pocket has a Snapdragon G2Gen2 Processor. So Retroid Pocket 6?
I really hope that Retroid has moved beyond the SDG2Gen2 for their flagship handheld. This would have decent power but I would like to see them move into the Odin 2 line level of performance now that Ayn has moved to the SD8Elite.
With all that it’s the easiest thing to guess they are announcing. Then again it could be something completely different.
The announcement in question will be on 10/27/2025 BJT. Not sure the actual time but we’ll be waiting impatiently.
