This has to be the fastest Ayn turn around for any device they have released.
I am now left wondering when these new Ayn Thor handhelds will ship seeing as they were teased first less than a week ago. That doesn’t seem to be slowing Ayn down however as the landing page is up and sales are close to going live.
Sales for the Ayn Odin Thor will go live on August 25th 2025 at 10:30pm ET [7:30pm PT]. Right now you can find any info that I have forgotten or missed over on the landing page.
I know this isn’t giving people much time to save. I imagine we will see the market start getting flooded with Retroid Pocket Flip 2 handhelds because you can get the Thor SD865 version for only $20 more.
I’m guessing they are also banking on borrowing a few customers from Ayaneo who might be canceling their Pocket DS orders as we speak. With Ayaneo’s track record you are going to be lucky to see their dual screen handheld before the Christmas Holiday.
