First Retro Handheld Clone of 2025 | RX6H
I’m not sure why the Powkiddy handhelds get so much cloning love as a company who clones other handhelds themselves, but they do. Our first clone of 2025 is the RX6H, which is a clone of the New Powkiddy X35H released just a couple of weeks ago.

This new RX6H is a less powerful version of the X35H but such is life in the cloning space. Coming in 3 colors at launch White, Translucent Black and Translucent Purple. The overall shape is very similar to the X35H though the sticks are located for more powerful emulation and stacked Shoulder/Triggers instead of the inline Triggers on the Powkiddy. The body also has slightly sharper lines making the neat little bumps coming out of the bottom much pointier (I wasn’t sure that was a word). I’m not sure yet who makes the RX6H but they have added some classy looking RGB your hands will likely cover up when playing games on the hand ergonomics.

RX6H Specs are as follows:
OS: Linux
Display: 3.5” MIPI
Resolution: HD 640×480
CPU: RK3326 Quad-core Cortex A7 1.5GHz
GPU: ?
RAM: ?
ROM: 64GB Included SD Card
TF: Single Slot SD System/Games
Charging: Type-C Fast Charge
Sticks: Twin Joysticks
Battery: 3000mAh (4hr gameplay)
I/O: OTG Controller, 3.5mm Audio

The RK3326 seems to be the most popular SOC being placed in budget handhelds this year so far. When last year we saw a slew of RK3566 handhelds it is starting to feel like the market is moving backwards. The R36S made a name for itself using the RK3326 which might have created a stockpile of the chipset leaving them open for new manufacturers to use to bring their handhelds to market.

They say up to PSP on this handheld but I think that might be a little ambitious. The SOC in the RX6H is a pretty solid performer up to and including PS1 but anything after that is very much on a game by game basis with a little luck. I have one on the way to test so I’ll be able to tell you soon.
If you want to pickup the RX6H at the time of posting I have found it on AliExpress for $23.54 USD. That is less than half the price of the X35H. The dip in performance might be worth the discounted price. After US tariffs go into effect the RX6H on items under $800USD this handheld might cost around $60 to get it to your house, so if you are interested now is the time to order.
If you want to get the RX6H it is available at this link for the price listed above right now!!
I will keep an eye out for more information and once I receive mine I will update you on my experience.
