Thanks to a review breaking embargo and now all others going public we have the price and release date for the New Steam Controller.
The Steam Controller will be releasing at 10am PST on May 4th. I don’t think they picked May the 4th be with you on accident.
There really isn’t much time between announcement and release on this controller. They are skipping the pre-order period and going direct to market.
As for the price, the new Steam Controller will be coming in at $99.99. This is actually $30USD less than I thought it would when comparing similar features to other controllers.
We are finally getting a “Pro” controller for PC and I can’t wait. This controller will really open up gaming for those of us who enjoy playing from the couch sometimes.
