New Anbernic RG477V: One Last 2025 Release December 20th starting at $199

It looks like after their slow start Anbernic is going to release handhelds right up to the end of the year.

The recently announced Anbernic RG477V will be releasing on December 20th starting at $199. There is both an 8GB and 12GB version of this handheld coming out at launch. The 128GB version should launch around $239.99 which is a fair price in comparison to similar handhelds this year.

Equipped with the powerful Dimensity D8300 SOC found in the popular RG477M, this new vertical handheld will also share the beautiful 4.7” 120Hz LPTS 1280×960 4:3 IPS display.

There has been some additional optimization since the initial review units reached reviewers hands such as: system bug fixes and a new “performance mode” added in os v1.35.
