abxylute (pronounced absolute), makers of the Android streaming One and One Pro handhelds is making the jump into the PC Handheld space.
With as much testing as I’ve done for abxylute in the past I have to admit I didn’t see this announcement coming. In fact the new handheld isn’t far away.
abxylute is best known for going toe to toe with Logitech against their G Cloud streaming handheld. Coming out around the same time the abxylute One being a smaller device with a similar 7″ screen at half the price. Even the new abxylute One Pro, the more powerful of their current lineup is selling for $219 at the time of posting.
There wasn’t any additional information share by abxylute other than “Coming this June”. Oddly they haven’t begun shipping retail units for the abxylute One Pro yet, though they seem expected to ship by this release.
abxylute prides itself on quality that’s affordable to the masses. I have to admit I’m a little excited and a little nervous to see what they come out with. This is a potential to be huge in this space and I have personally been a fan waiting for them to get their big break.
