The New Android Handheld has all the 2DS feels, Available NOW | MagicX Zero 40

If you are familiar with the Nintendo 2DS you can’t not see it when looking at the Zero 40 from MagicX.

The new retro handheld was designed with those 2DS nostalgic feels in mind. It can also play DS through emulation which will give you a dual screen feel on its 4” 480×800 IPS display.

The Zero 40 should have enough power to play DS games with little to know issue. Though it’s a new attempt putting Android on this Allwinner A133P from the likes of the TrimUI Brick, with 2GB RAM on this SOC it shouldn’t be an issue.

The MagicX Zero 40 is surprisingly affordable for this configuration and yet it comes with the bells and whistles. You will get BT4.2, WiFi 2.4G, a touch screen and a 4300mAh battery. There does happen to be only 1 joystick, but that’s really more than you need for what this handheld is made for.

Maybe you can help me out. Is the MagicX Zero 40 considered a vertical or horizontal handheld?

I’ll likely pickup the MagicX Zero 40 so watch for an updated review coming. If there is anything you would like to checkout please leave it in the comment section.
