The Mangmi Air X comes equipped with the Snapdragon 662, 4GB RAM, 64GB Storage, 5.5” IPS Display, 5000mAh Battery, Hall Joysticks and Android 14. You should be able expect awesome Game Streaming and a good amount of PS2 and GameCube emulation.
Thanks to Adreno Drivers the SOC is able to be pushed farther than it ever had before. The Mangmi Air X is shaping up to be the affordable budget-friendly handheld we’ve been waiting for.
There are more powerful handhelds like the Retroid Pocket 5 supported by the Snapdragon 865 and completely out kick their coverage with emulation so the Air X isn’t the only show in town. Going with the RP5 will cost you more than double what the Air X will however.
I’ll have one of these soon as I ordered one for review. I’m confident this will be a good little handheld with the correct expectations but will wait to make my recommendation until after I have it in hand for a while.
