For those who thought the Miyio Flip is too big we might have a solution.
Showing up on Stock Alerts over on Telegram and posted to the Retro Handhelds discord by user what_price_ljn we have some supposed images of a Miyoo Flip Mini.
There is a lot of questions here including how far along this project is? We ask because it took over a year from the time Miyoo produced images of the Miyoo Flip to the time the handheld was released. It’s reported that the delay was due to perfecting the hinge, but was it?
This Miyoo Flip Mini in the images looks to be a Mini flip version of the handheld with more squared corners, smaller bezels and an obvious missing set of joysticks. It’s an interesting move as Anbernic is releasing an all but photocopy of the Miyoo Flip this week with the RG34xxSP. The new RG34xxSP even has the joysticks after not having them being selling point of the RG35xxSP last year.
Let’s also not forget that there is an update coming from Powkiddy with the V90S update to their popular Flip Handheld.
This is interesting and other than the images we don’t have anymore information as of this post. As these things typically go more info will probably drop right after posting and I’ll keep you updated.
