Miyoo Flip Pre-Orders Live

We have all been waiting for the Miyoo Flip… well I have at least. Initially supposed to launch October 15th 2023 we now a release date and orders are open.

Colors of the new Miyoo Flip seem to be going fast with all but Grey appearing to already being sold out as of this post. So you get the best chance of picking it up here is the link: Miyoo Flip Pre-Oder before I keep running my mouth.

The Flip is releasing in 4 colors. Seen above we have Black, Grey, White and Yellow. With the addition of a sticker the yellow is a throwback to the Pikachu Game Boy SP of the past. The Grey is SNES inspired, white has some fun pastel candy buttons and the black is a clean alternative sharing button colors with the Miyoo A30. Initially the black had some eye catching lime green buttons and I have to admit I’m a little bummed out that they didn’t stick to that colorway.

I hope that Miyoo doesn’t suffer after their extended delays of the Flip. When they announced it Anbernic scrambled and quickly released the RG35xxSP which is on many reviewers Best Of 2024 Handhelds lists. We are gaining vita style joysticks and a closer 1:1 size comparision to the original Game Boy Advance SP with the Miyoo Flip. The 35xxSP is significantly larger with the same size screen, less powerful H700 SOC and no sticks.

Expect to be able to play up to GameCube with the heavily tested RK3566 SOC in the Flip. This should also include some Sega Saturn, PSP, PS1 Dreamcast, all of the 2D systems and more important the entire GBA Library.
